Pidy is looking to employ an inspiring and innovative product manager

Wanted: An inspiring product manager, an innovate brand manager and strategic customer loyalty specialist… in other words: a real all round marketing specialist who has a focus on developing profitable growth for our ready-to-fill products whilst delivering profitable growth with our range of customers in retail, industry and food service.

  1. ACTIVITIES (non-limited overview)
    ▪ Market understanding : conduct market research
    ▪ Product Management : ensure profitable growth of the product categories
    a. Understand and manage the product portfolio.
    b. Development of comprehensive category plan (short, medium and long term;
    c. Introduce in time new product developments which are strategic for the company : Implement, set priorities, follow-up and redirect;
    d. Drive product launches working closely with all departments involved
    e. Monitor the performance of the newly launched products and re-address where needed
    ▪ Brand Management : ensure profitable growth of the brands of the company
    a. Brand strategy, including the setting of style guides, brand guidelines, brand vision and value proposition for short as well as long term
    b. Planning and execution of all communications and media actions on all channels, including online and social media, with the Communication Manager
    c. Creating and managing promotional collateral to establish and maintain product branding
    d. Analysis of sales forecasts and reporting on product sales
    ▪ Category Management : ensure profitable growth of the customer categories
    a. Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
    b. Action plan by sales channel/account with prioritisation, implement and monitor results and redirect.
    c. Prepare launch presentations and all sales support an material needed
    d. Promotion plan per account : definition and implement with Account development
    e. Lead and drive customer meetings as part of category reviews, with account development
    ▪ Cross department coordination : Provide guidance and support towards all departments.
  2. PROFILE :
    • Proven experience in all round Marketing (3-5 years ‘experience) in food industry company
    • Knowledge of project management
    • Fluent in English and Dutch (spoken and written), comfortable in French,
    • Good knowledge of Excel and power point – knowledge of SAP is a plus
    • Driver’s license
    • Your personality:
    o You are perseverant, creative, flexible and can multitask,
    o Excellent communication skills with colleagues, clients, suppliers, … . You are a remarkable team member and you value your coworkers.
    o Curious, open-minded, with a strong ability to understand and analyze trends, to assess the development potential of the product offer
    o Customer oriented, open to all opportunities!
  3. OFFER:
    You will join a dynamic team in an international company that is one of the world leaders in the ready to fill pastry industry with ambitious goals.
    You are based in Ypres. You regularly relocate to (international) clients and trade fairs.
    Full time (Belgian) contract with competitive salary package, with company car, telephone, laptop, luncheon vouchers, eco vouchers, group assurance.
